Summary:

A successful lawyer and loving mother, Nina Bloom would do anything to protect the life she's built in New York--including lying to everyone, even her daughter, about her past. But when an innocent man is framed for murder, she knows that she can't let him pay for the real killer's crimes.
Nina's secret life began 18 years ago. She had looks to die for, a handsome police-officer husband, and a carefree life in Key West. When she learned she was pregnant with their first child, her happiness was almost overwhelming. But Nina's world is shattered when she unearths a terrible secret that causes her to run for her life and change her identity.
Now, years later, Nina risks everything she's earned to return to Florida and confront the murderous evil she fled. In a story of wrenching suspense, James Patterson gives us his most head-spinning, action-filled story yet--a Hitchcock-like blend of unquenchable drama and pleasure.

Review:

James. Patterson. Knows. How. To. Write. A. Book.  Maybe that's why he racked in more than $84 milli last year.  Now You See Her is a classic, page turning, psychological, mind effing novel.  Once you think you've figured everything out, another heart attack causing twist is added that will literally have your mouth hanging wide open.

Nina is your typical "woe is me, I've had a horrible life, where is my Prince Charming to save me"  damsel in distress.  You want to hate Nina (and at times slap her), but something about Nina tugs at your cardiac muscles and you actually (dare I say) end up feeling sorry for her. With that being said, I really cant say much more without giving everything away. *grin* However I will say, the last 50 pages are super intense. I promise you will set a new world record for speed reading.

I recommend this book to anyone that loves a good psychological thriller with a hint of romance.  If you watch any of the 50000 crime shows (CSI, Law & Order, Criminal Minds) than this is the book for you.
